A Life Dreamt in Corners

Come, walk with me, no rush today,
No ticking clocks to pull our hearts away.
Three warm meals await, rich and slow,
Simple treasures in a life we’ll know.

Here, I am older, yet forever a child,
My heart wide open, soft and wild.
See this corner? Colors spilled in glee,
Sketches of the soul, unbound and free.

Listen—piano notes drift from there,
Songs that once gave goosebumps, float in air.
I hum along, letting memories rise,
Each note a spark, a quiet surprise.

And over here, frames lean against the wall,
Waiting to catch each rise, each fall.
Moments captured, both tender and bright,
Softly glowing in the hush of the night.

Props for dances, tucked away with care,
Whispers of dreams waiting somewhere.
Waves of wind wander through every room,
Sometimes sunlit, sometimes gloom.

I laugh aloud without a trace of shame,
And cry when I must, without any blame.
No fear, no mask—just raw, true me,
Living every breath, every memory.

Here, I am human, alive and free,
In colors, in music, in laughter and tears I see.
A home of corners, a life of heart,
A dream lived fully, a world of art.
